apply to be an op-ed editor!
  • we are looking for someone who loves to read and write, and has some experience writing and editing op-ed articles! 

  • as op-ed editor, you would edit our op-ed writers' biweekly articles, as well as help brainstorm articles. please make sure to read our previous articles (you can find them under our blog section!) to get a feel for the type of articles we publish. 

  • lastly, an op-ed editor should be able to commit to working at least 1-2 hours a week, as well as be able to join a monthly online team meeting. 

apply to be a poetry editor!
  • we are looking for someone who loves to read and write poetry, and has some experience editing poems!

  • as poetry editor, you would be working with our poetry director, jaya, to go through our bimonthly poetry submissions; you would provide feedback on poetry submissions and have the final say on the publication of poetry submissions. 

  • lastly, a poetry editor should be able to commit to working at least 1-2 hours a week, as well as be able to join a monthly online team meeting. 

apply to be an art director!
  • we are looking for someone creative who loves to create art and/or photography!  

  • as art director, you would create a biweekly visual graphic to accompany our op-ed articles. please take a look at our previous articles (you can find them underneath our blog section!) to get the feel of the type of visual graphics we are looking for.

  • as art director, you would also be in charge of the bimonthly art and photography submissions we receive; you would provide feedback on art and photography submissions and have the final say on the publication of submissions. 

  • lastly, an art director should be able to commit to working at least 1-2 hours a week, as well as be able to join a monthly online team meeting. 

apply to be a communications director!
  • we are looking for someone creative who will run our newsletter as well as future social media accounts!  

  • as communications director, you will be in charge of our biweekly newsletter, which we create on wix. don't worry if you don't have any wix experience - as long as you have an openness and drive to learn, you will do great! 

  • as communications director, you will also be in charge of our future social media accounts, as love letters is hoping to expand to other platforms. please make sure you are familiar with our instagram and twitter pages! 

  • lastly, a communications director should be able to commit to working at least 1-2 hours a week, as well as be able to join a monthly online team meeting.
